  1. As 5 and six year olds, Jerry Jost and I had wonderful play and work times together. How could one not cherish sliding down a mud path, naked, into the Cottonwood ! Or playing “Farm” with our toy tractors ! Arguing who got the first slice of Aunt Louella’s fresh baked bread, driving horses, plowing fields, pitching hay, shocking wheat. There are multitudes of early fond memories. Together at Gnadenau.
But to then observe Jerry Jost and Joan raise a beautiful family was a joy. Jerry is the classic German Mennonite man with work ethic, his God, and values that make America.
We’ll all be missing you. See you on the other side Dear Cousin.
With Sympathy to Joan and Your family.
